Congrats and a question.
« on: March 07, 2013, 08:11:53 AM »
Well i have to congratulate all the people that is behind this project you are doing a great job, sorry for the absurd title, but i am a  newcomer in the linux world and i want to start to learn everything i can about it and i think tinycore is a good way to start with, i want to learn about the commands and how linux works, i first used  debian but i was somehow lost, but with your project i feel more secure  :), i like to learn the hard way so i want to ask you for any good book that teaches the fundamentals on linux in general.

Also some questions that may sound stupid but please bare with me :)
1) Are all the bash commands in TC same as in other Linux distros ?
2) Whatts the difference between bash and shell ?
3) Is it sane to use the site LFS to make my own distro with TC ?

I mean can i build a live cd based on TC with my own wallpaper and my own security tools
How can i achieve this, i would love some guiding  on this subject, I love to make my own kind of Backtrack  :) based on TinyCore.

Thank you and forgive me for any bad grammar or stupid questions.

The bash extension for tinycore adds the same bash commands as found in other distros
