Persistent /etc /usr (basically everything)

Hi All,

I'm new to TC, kudos for you guys, its really nice!

After a few days of playing around, i'm setting up  a development machine (with compiletc, etc.). After building and testing, i need to create a new ISO.

Now, when configuring my machine i'm aware that /etc is not persistent, neither /usr.   With filletool.sh i can make a backup.

But is there a way to mount rootfs not in RAM, but make everything basically persistent (i only have one machine for building the remastered ISO)?

I tried to look around but couldn't find anything.
