the capability to use the same CD and to have MULTI-BOOT-FLAVOR will
be, at least for me, a interesting thing ...
not multiboot, multisession. in other words, step 1 is to download the standard tinycore iso, nothing special yet. then you write the iso to cd, close the session, leave the cd open for more sessions. tcl users have done all this before (to add more extensions.)
where the difference comes in is that in theory you could have tc write new sessions, where it could add the latest tce's, the latest mydata.tgz, that kind of thing to the cd as part of exittc. so you could have the usual functionality of your usb key with tce folder and backup, but now you could do it all with just one multisession cd.
the key thing here is, that it's a base feature of the distro, or rather that all other backup/restore options are base features, but this one would require cdrtools. presumably you could make this feature an extension, then when it came time for exittc, the feature would even write itself to the cd. i hope it wouldn't require anything special from robert, as the list of things to get 2.0 release.... i'd rather see this in 2.1 or even 2.2, but that's just me. actually, it would require changes to the boot scripts, i hate to say.
