isolinux.cfg
« on: December 14, 2012, 07:30:23 AM »
Hello

Iḿ building my own boot cd. I used knoppix but it got too large for a CD, so I went to tinycore linux.
I use ezremaster to build my own CD.

I would like to modify the isolinux.cfg file, but it always get overwritten if i execute the "ezremaster /path/to/my/ezremaster.cfg"
How do I build the iso and keep my modified isolinux.cfg file.?

Greets WJP

You can always use the manual instructions (see the wiki page on remastering) to edit that one file, after getting it otherwise how you like it in ezremaster.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

I like the ezremaster way

So I follow all the steps and create the ISO
Now I go to /tmp/ezremaster/image/boot/isolinux and replace my modified isolinux.cfg
Then I create a new iso with: "remaster.sh /tmp/ezremaster/ezremaster.cfg /package.

That seems to work  8)
