I just installed a freshly downloaded copy of TinyCore-current 4.7.2 on a new computer and proceeded to load the chromium-browser.scm (version dated Dec 26 2012) which also loaded the gtk2.scm. After the icon appeared on the wbar, I clicked to load it. Nothing happened. Opening a terminal I tried to run /apps/chromium-browser/bin/chromium-browser and it gave me an error message that said "...error while loading shared libraries: libXss.so.1"
So I searched the forum and found this message in response to the same problem with mplayer.scm back in 9.2012:
http://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,14114.msg79331.html#msg79331 in which Jason W said the problem seemed to be in having "forgot[ten] to pack the Xorg-7.6-lib libraries in the extension".
After loading the Xorg-7.6-lib.tcz, the chromium-browser opened normally.
So it seems that this bug has repeated itself again. If you could be so kind as to remedy this, I thank you in advance.
Yours,
Michael Wells
