Kernel Panic during PXE Boot
« on: August 27, 2012, 09:39:33 AM »
Hello,

I have got a problem by booting Tiny Core 4.5.6 with PXE.

Following error appears by PXE-booting:

Code: Bad EIP value.
EIP [<00000000>] SS:ESP 0068:dec39e24
........
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attemted to kill init!
Pid: 1, comm: swapper Tainted: G     D      3.0.21-tinycore #3021
Call Trace:
.........
#Then after some lines of numbers, nothing happens.

default configuration (located in pxelinux.cfg):
LABEL linux
KERNEL vmlinuz
APPEND initrd=core.gz

I have googled for many hours to find a solution but there is nothing helpful to fix my problem.

PS: RAM-size of the client is not my problem.

The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
