boots to windows

I used the tinycore plus disc to do a frugal installation and ticked the box for a bootloader

upon restarting the pc windows just loads up, I dont see a bootloader

Also when I downloaded the xf86-intel driver the monitor just stopped receiving any signals from the PC,

Before that the monitor was very dark I didnt see any options to turn up the gamma
