cython.tcz dependencies

cython generates a C source with Python.h Isn't python-dev.tcz missing in cython.tcz.dep?

It is TC, not Debian. What they are doing is their bussiness.

cython is used to generate C source from Python code. If you want to compile C code you need Python header file which is in python-dev.tcz so it is logical to add as a dependency. OK, it may happen that you are just creating C files with cython and do not want to use that time. So python-dev.tcz can be thretated as a soft dependency.

sorry if it was a bit loud, not intended. It is your extension It has nothing to do being moderator which is used only to delete spam and improper content.



Keep dep list as it is now and if you agree, add to the info file something like that:

"To compile resulted C code you need python-dev.tcz installed"
