After having problems getting mouse support working with a modified TCL in VBox, and after a suggestion in forums, I've upgraded all the components (see versions below). Unfortunately, the virtualbox-ose-additions.tcz (GA) no longer has the vboxmouse.so file.  The sample xorg.conf in the package, which I'm using, requires this file.  Is this an oversight or has it been deprecated/deliberately removed?  If it's been removed, how do you enable mouse support?

I copied over an older vboxmouse.so file and it works partially.  The "seamless" part works but have to click the VBox window 4 times before TCL sees the clicks.

Host: Mac OSX Lion

VirtualBox 4.1.18
TinyCore 4.5.6
Kernel 3.0.21-tinycore
virtualbox-ose-additions.tcz 4.1.18
virtualbox-ose-addtions-modules-3.0.21-tinycore.tcz 4.1.18
Xorg-7.6.tcz 1.11
fluxbox.tcz (git 2009/07/04)
xorg.conf (one from the guest additions)

Any ideas?

Thanks.

The goal is to have mouse pointer integration working. I want the seamless behavior of the mouse moving in and out of the window without having to press the "release" key combo.  But I also don't want to have to click 4 times in the vbox window before the guest "sees" the clicks.

As far as yours working, I suspect that you are using the default mouse driver and not the vboxmouse.so.

I don't think the guest additions are specific to the host OS.
