Yes, I am aware of that. (I use it as a easy way to restore the repository address since in a previous version, I had noticed a bug where the address in tcemirror was overwritten, and the app browser would be broken.)
You must of missed something, so I'll try again.
My systems are reporting mirrors.tcz as needing an update, but trying to update the tcz reports the msg "update failed".
So then I marked the tcz for deletion, and rebooted, then installed mirrors.tcz, then checked for updates, which to my suprise it said it needed to be updated.
If you delete, reboot and install a tcz, and then check for an update, how could it possibly find an update available?? Shouldn't it of installed the latest version of the tcz in question??
Also, I would like to see the error on why it failed to update, not just the simple msg "update failed". That would at least point me to the reason why it failed.
As you can see, something has happened to mirrors.tcz that is not allowing it to be updated for some reason or another, which is why I'm posting.
I have 3 machines, that all report this problem.
Jason.
