Here is wvdial.tcel.  For those who have dialup ( qb4, others :-) ), please help test it thoroughly.

NOTE:  This package will require testing and further development as it is non-functional as it is.

I see no dep for pppd - does wvdial function standalone?

This extension has been removed as it does not function and will require rebuilding and further development and testing.

To be honest I don't remember exactly what the issue was beyond not connecting.  I haven't used dialup in years, so it would not be a good investment of my time to revisit it or maintain the package even if it worked well.  And I always used pppsetup or gtkdial back then anyway. 

Pehaps someone familiar with wvdial could make an extension.

I think I've used with 2.x and a 3g modem
