Disable Automount for Data recovery?

Is there a way to disable mounting internal/external hard drives during boot? For example: Backtrack 5 offers a forensics boot where it dosent mount any drives or swap space.
Thanks in advance..

Drives are not automounted. Only the tce drive is mounted, and that can be prevented with the 'base' boot option.
