Hello
how do you get a PS2 mouse to work with TCL.
The mice is a PS2 mouse with 2 buttons and a (button wheel).
It is model PERIMICE-201....by Perixx
It is optical mouse and plugs into a PS2 port on the laptop. THe port is able to take either a mouse or a keyboard.
i tried all settings from Vesa...for choosing mouse but non of them worked. THe laptop bios appears to be right and does not contain any strange settings for the mouse.
thanks
V.

Run xsetup and choose 2 button ps2 mouse.
If it doesn't work, toss it and get one that works.

Boot codes go into the config file of your boot loader.
Backup is unrelated.

That depends on the boot loader you are using.

ok...well the TCL i am using is tinycore 4.3.1
burned to CD.
so what is the name of the bootloader config file for that disro?
is it .....boot/isolinux/isolinux.cfg
would it mean editing that file at the desktop then making a remaster iso?
is there any way to use the boot labels of a CD disc that appear in burner tools
and putting the "pci=noacpi" there?
thanks

Hi cast-fish
When you get to the boot prompt, the one with the "F2, F3, or F4" message, type in
tc pci=noacpi
and hit enter.
If that works for you and you want to make it permanent, you will have to remaster.
