rtorrent - Could not lock session directory

Hi

I have a

Code: [Select]

.session dir which contains .rtorrent.rc in

Code: [Select]

/home/tc/Downloads
I run rtorrent from /home/tc/Downloads but i get the following error and rtorrent does not run

Code: [Select]

Could not lock session directory: "/home/tc/Download/.session/", No such file or directory
I tried running

Code: [Select]

sudo rtorrent The above error disappears but rtorrent says that it cannot find

.rtorrent.rcCan anybody help? setting up rtorrent?

Don't use sudo.

Ok but If I do not use sudo rtorrent does not run at all!
