[Request] BFS module for FUSE
« on: March 04, 2012, 11:07:20 AM »
Hi

could someone please make a self-contained extension with the BFS module for FUSE?
(BFS is the native filesystem of BeOS/Haiku)

The module is already available for Linux.

I give you the relevant links:

https://www.haiku-os.org/guides/access_bfs_with_fuse

Thank you in advance,

Laudan

From what I understand this is at least in part a kernel module, which is outside the scm format thus far.

Jason, are you sure about that? I was under the impression that FUSE modules could be turned into extensions. There is already a ZFS module (zfs-fuse.tcz), so why should it not be possible with BFS?

At any rate, what do you reckon should be done to make BFS available in Tinycore?

Ok, I have read more about it.  But as I don't use it nor have a ready means of testing the results, it would be better if someone else made the package.
