Perhaps a keyword in the package name to indicate its status (with the obvious notes in the .info).

This has been discussed before. The community is free to submit such extensions. I do not want to provide them for the possibly quite wrecked user experience they provide, and even with such a stamp in the info file, they would be assosiated as "official".

ETA on TC 4.4? After 4.3 is out ;)

4.3 then is waiting on Robert to get back from the expo, among some other things.

I mean any version with a new kernel supporting AX.25 I'm working on an applications where I have to test AX.25 stack and would be better to use the official kernel instead of make a custom one. I'm ready for beta testing before official launch.

Ok, I'll ping you when there's something to test. It'll be after 4.3 final, though.

- r6040 mii patch if not already in the stable update

I've tried Coreplus 4.2, 4.2.1, 4.3rc1 and none seem to work with the r6040 problem.
Is this patch imminent?
Is there a version that works (on a Vortex86mx) in the meantime?

It will be there for Core 4.4.

No, I think it's not in any stable linux kernel yet, 3.3 is not out and it has not been applied to the stable updates as far as I can see.

I found the following, vxdx:gc301 at ftp.dmp.com.tw/Linux_DEMO/vmlinuz-tcl42.zip, that seems to do the trick in 4.2 and 4.2.1,
which is fine in the interim.

Is there any chance to add the RDC Xorg driver as well to the distribution, as XVesa doesn't support 1680x1050.

Regards,

It will be there for Core 4.4.

I think the RDC driver was a bit low quality. Because of that, and me not having such hw, I'd rather someone who can test it create an extension.

Well, I can see all those '*-3.0.21-tinycore.tcz' extensions popping up in the 4.x repository, so I assume we are going to have kernel version 3.0.21 (instead of 3.0.3) starting with 4.4rc1. That, plus the fact that already new 'config-3.0.21-tinycore*' files and "friends" are available tells me that someone was well prepared and just waiting for a "starter's gun" ...

Actually no, the 4.3 release just happened on such a day I had a lot of free time ;)
