Fatal Error?
« on: February 18, 2012, 08:24:00 AM »
Hi!
I decided to try out Tiny CorePlus-4.3 on my old machine so i downloaded Tiny CorePlus-4.3 burnt it to a CD-R and the ran it as a Live CD. Having a look around so to speak i clicked on "AppBrowser" i got the following error message:

Fatal Error: TCE Directory is not writable?

Would it be possible to attempt an install and hope that the AppBrowser and TCE Directory would then be up and running correctly.

Hiya Rich

Thanks for taking the time out to reply but sadly i don't understand the "small oops" so i have burnt a cd containing TinyCore-4.3 instead. I have managed to install Firefox also, OSS.tcz for the sound plus getFlash11.tcz but i can't  find an option for installing TinyCore-4.3? Help please!

The installer is not included in the TinyCore iso, but in the CorePlus one. On TC, you can download it from the appbrowser (tc-install.tcz).
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Hi Curaga

Have already installed tc-install.tcz via AppBrowser. All that remains now is to pluck up enough courage and attempt an install lol.

Big thanks for the reply Curaga
