updates on progress so far:

1. Still can't get kmap to function properly, "backspace" still => "[" and etc... do you do "kmap=en" or "kmap=us" as bootcode? I did that and it still didn't work.

2. Managed to get ssh dropbear server to work, however when connecting to the box, it ask for username and password. I have no clue what username and password to enter, as I wasn't asked for one before, is there a default useraccount/password? If so, what is it, and how to change it?

The default user is tc and he has no password. Set one ("passwd"), and remember to add etc/shadow etc/passwd to your backup.

Please see the FAQ on the kmap bootcode syntax.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
