example:
- I open the Appsaudit
- I open the ondemand menue
- I choose "minefield"..
then the window of Appsaudit close automatically.
It happens in tcl and mc with xorg76, too.

So, I should now (workaround):
- delete the tcz I wanted in ondemand
- reboot
- approwser this tcz with load "ondemand".
This way of putting an extension as ondemand is a bit longer as usual.

If you start appsaudit from a terminal, any messages? Anything in dmesg?
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Desktop AMD K6-III 550MHz (see signature):
- mc4_1 and Xorg74 (all new updated Xlibs etc.)
- appsaudit started in a terminal
- try to put an extension on boot or on demand..
the windows close with the error message in the terminal "Illegal instruction".
Nothing in dmesg.

I will try mc4_1 and Xorg76 and tcl4_1 on that pc and post here any news.

Update: same error with all tries above "Illegal instruction".

since, there is no solution in sight for this issue, what is the command-line
a) for putting loaded extensions as "on demand" for next start?
b) for putting extensions as "on boot"? (loaded or not)... Other method than editing the onboot.lst

Its the hardware.  AMD K6. You can try 4.2 as compile time options were adjusted to try to support older gear.
4.2 was tested on 586 but no one on team has AMD K6

Thanks Roberts for the motivating words.. but an answer for the questions above would be helpfull (as long I dont start screwing my old pc with the 4_2..)

If you won't try booting CorePlus-4.2 then not much I can do. I can't make a K6 into a 686 or even a 586.

It is solved with V 4.2rc2 (Xorg7.4 or 7.6).
Thanks a lot.
TC 4.2 is a fine operating system.
I will freeze my AMD K6-III with the released version of 4.2.
