Taskbars not showing running applications
« on: October 26, 2011, 08:26:05 PM »
I need a proper taskbar on my Tiny Core, one that will show running apps, stay on top of applications and autohide when not needed.
I tried lxpanel and tint2, but for some reason neither of them show running applications. Also, I can't seem to configure tint2 - right clicking on it does nothing. And it takes about 10 seconds from when the tint2 command is given to when the taskbar comes up.

Any hints on making tint2 (preferable) or lxpanel work correctly? Do you know of any other taskbars in the repositories (I'm allergic to compiling stuff)?

Thanks.
