lighttpd 404 on listing root folder?
« on: October 05, 2011, 12:42:39 PM »
Hello all!

I have installed Lighttpd on TC 4.0 and I am using it chrooted and, as a post here in the forum, I am creating the lighttpd.conf as my script to start it is called.

The problem is: after the server is up and running, when i try to access 127.0.0.1, it give a 404 error to me.

Why?

Thanks for your attention!

Any help is welcome!

Hi Rich!

Well... the server started well when I use a lighttpd.conf file gotten from my Ubuntu server. I am still not sure why (since it has the same configuration) but it works!

My only problem now is that when I open a XUL window wich a browser or iframe inside it, the directory listing works but all other file access (i.e. clicking on some html file) do not render the page, just throws an error about unknowContentType.xul ....

There could be a problem on the version of XULrunner on TC 4.0?

Thanks for your attention!
