problem or not patient enough?
« on: September 30, 2011, 03:36:40 PM »
i have an old compter originally had windows98. i have installed several flavers of linux. ubuntu, vector, damn small linux, lubuntu and several others. i would like to try tinycore but when i put the cd in i get the bootup screen press enter and the screen flicers and nothing happens.

from the multicore cd i have tried every option shown but it is the same thing, i haved walked away from this for a few hours but it just shows the startup screen.

would like to do a frugal install, any suggestions

thanks

Boot with the debug option to see the messages.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Hi gdb
debug  is a kernel boot code, not a Tinycore boot code, you won't find it under F1,F2, or F3.
