Tiny Core Linux Team
« on: December 05, 2008, 01:33:37 PM »
We are still setting things up, But to answer the question of who is leading this distribution and who are the team members of Tiny Core Linux.

I, roberts, founded this project starting in April 2008, by July I had sent invitations to certain developers to help me. In alphabetical order, curaga, JasonW, juanito became my development team members. They contributed not only our initial collection of extensions, but also have contributed much to the base 10MB core. Over the summer, much work was done by all four of us in all areas of Tiny Core Linux.

The administration team of Tiny Core Linux in alphabetical order are: clivesay, ke4nt, and ^thehatsrule^.
In July clivesay and ke4nt offered this hosting and did the inital setup of the website infrastructure. Later ^thehatsrule^ joined the admin team. He setup/registered our irc channel.  More changes are coming from the admin team including a wiki and improving the website and repository.

I am very proud of Team Tiny Core Linux.

Team Tiny Core welcomes our newest member Robert Schumann aka gutmensch.
Robert will be helping primarily with the maintenance of the repository and general administration.

Over the last two years Jason has done an outstanding job of handling an explosive growth of extensions. His dedication and attentiveness has been superb. But it is time Jason has some help. Jason will now be able to focus on other Tiny Core areas as his availability allows. The repository maintenance will transition to Robert. I have updated the About Us webpage.

Welcome Robert Schumann our newest Team Tiny Core member.

He joins the development group. bmarkus has already contributed much to Tiny Core.

His contributions include many extensions for x86, including the very popular LXDE and XFCE

Lately his focus has been on arm development for the Raspberry Pi. Which has been outstanding.

Today I am announcing a change in my status with regard to this project.

I have updated the webpage  http://tinycorelinux.net/Team_TC.html to indicate my status to emeritus.

As many know, I have late stage muscular dystrophy and due to it's continued progression I now struggle even more with my ability to partake at the level as I have in the past. I am not going away. I will be around as health permits. Expect your Team Tiny Core to be even more visible with maintenance and  future releases in the Tiny Core series.
