flash

Hello

i am starting a virgin boot of tcl 3.6

I install Opera-11 browser and run it.  (onboot)
Then i try to install getFlash10. It seems to go through the process then report
in red lettering. "there has been an error in this function...exiting"

so i can't get flash to work.

Any advice?

V.

Do you have sound (OSS or ALSA)? IIRC getFlash10 needs that to run as well as the browser.

may be you need to install mplayer-nodeps also?
Do not forget to install OSSMIX also to set sound levels etc.
t(w)o be(ers) or not t(w)o be(ers) that is the question

hello,

no, the mplayer thing won't have anything to do with
this scenario.

As for mixers, i use "alsa mixer" from a terminal. I use
alsa sound drivers now.

perhaps it's my fault....forgetting to install sound drivers
(probably)
