how to change my bits of color via terminal

i am having problems with my screen colors.  everything is green and yellow and it is very difficult to see anything.  is there anyway i can change my bit rate via terminal?

this not true.  in my other post people told me how to change the screen resolution.  my resolution is fine but i do need to change the bitrate of the colors to at least 16buit.  i looks like it is 2bit

that command that was given to me in the other post tell me how to change my screen resolution.  i need to change the color bitrate.  these are two different things

You are currently having a display problem. Resolution, number of colors, amount of video RAM, and
bit rate are all inter-related. I believe it would be appropriate to address your display problem in
your original thread.
