Am a little unclear of the difference, please forgive me if its already in faq
Would much little to try tiny core on a usb stick is this possible? [not got any cdrom discs handy at the moment!]

I've added a description to downloads.html.
You can install TC to usb various ways from another distro or even Windows, see unetbootin or the wiki.
