I've got problems when upgrading my tinycore USB stick from 3.6 to 3.7:
when I replace my tinycore.gz (3.6) with the one found here:
http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/3.x/release/distribution_files/tinycore.gzI get the following error message:
Loading Extensions...Done
Warning! Errors occured during the loading of the extensions.
Request for /mnt/sda1/tce ignored. Not supported on Read-Only File System.
Press Enter Key.
If I proceed with Enter, TC boots up, but hasn't any extensions loaded (i.e., e.g. no german keyboard layout), but mount tells me that it has my USB stick mounted read-write. I also can edit my menu.lst so that I can boot my saved tinycore_3.6.gz initrd (although it is a bit awkward with the wrong keycaps).
My kernel line (for 3.6 and 3.7) in Grub legacy is:
kernel /boot/bzimage waitusb=5 multivt kmap=qwertz/de-latin1-nodeadkeys noutc
Both entries differ only in the initrd.
Thanks for any help in advance
regards
