Sounds like a RAM problem to me.

MiniQ9: You'll have to supply a bit more information to support the identification of your issue:

What type of setup are you using (e.g. type of installation, boot codes, ...)?
When does it happen (e.g. as part of the boot process or later)?
What extensions are installed at startup (e.g. what is in '.../tce/onboot.lst')?
How much memory is available (pre-boot as well as after startup)?

You might want to use boot code 'syslog' to get a fuller picture as you could then attach the '/var/log/messages' file here.

I would check the md5sum of the downloaded file(s).

The error arose, when I tried to connect local mc.tcz.
It has been loaded TCL 3.2.
I have deleted all previous loadings and have loaded mc.tcz anew. The problem has disappeared. The file has been broken?
Thanks, alarm it has appeared false.

A file system check on partition in question - unmounted - couldn't harm  ;)
