su password [solved]
« on: September 12, 2010, 02:59:02 AM »
I booted 3.1 off of a CD with bootcodes base norestore, opened a terminal, and issued an su command so I could do a usbinstall. It asked me for a password. As far as I can recall I never had to enter one before. Is there a default I should use? Thanks.

Did you mean "sudo" or "sudo su"?
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
