The attitude of late is really waring on me. These words of "I am right, your wrong!" Prove me wrong. This must.., This should... What is it a secret... You need to be reporting to us. Smacks of management meeting.

No thanks!

What happended to civility?

When one gives of one's time and effort freely to others, you would think others would be more respectful.

I think there is an appbrowser-cli.tcz extension. If someone really wanted to make things go in a different way, he/she has code and clues to do so.

Yeah, I am stating that even as I posted this. A suggestion should not be a petition, much less a demand. If it does not resemble one of the later, that is a bonus too.

Suggestions to decrease workload should be always welcome. Suggestions to increase workload, seldomly would do. If you think it is one of the former but the one that does the actual coding thinks it is one of the later, don't persist.

Perhaps you are the thin-skinned one?

I have the most respect for your work but zero respect for the way you deal with suggestions.

On other linux forums, discussions are mostly open and amicable ( eg look at puppylinux boards); here, when suggestions are voiced, you quite often lose your cool. You merely have to look at the numerous threads where suggestions have been made to see the extremes people go through to try and make suggestions without provoking you. Extremes which I have never noticed on other forums:

--- Quote ---The team is doing a great job now, and Tiny Core is continually improving. If you don't have time, I understand.
--- End quote ---

--- Quote ---If Robert and the team don't agree, or think it is unnecessary, I will accept the decision.

I am just sharing my thoughts.
--- End quote ---

--- Quote ---I am only making suggestions. I accept that others may have different ideas
--- End quote ---
(Your response: Are we now at a "make work" requests state? )

--- Quote ---This is just a suggestion. You decide if you think it is a good idea.
--- End quote ---

--- Quote --- I wonder if tcl's default mode should perhaps be tce/mount (or tce/install)?
--- End quote ---
(you lost your cool)

Sometimes a different perspective is very helpful.

What is really weird, is that numerous time when suggestions have been made, you apparently first rejected these, arguing them down, only for those exact same suggestions or very similar ones appearing later on as improvements without so much as a nod to the original person who made a suggestion. Perhaps I am wrong, but it does seem as if you are sometimes adopting good ideas by stealth. I assume this is not your deliberate intention but care is needed. This applies whether you are doing all this in your spare time or not.

"I am done."

And as usual jur piles on. I have come to expect that. Always has to have the last word. Watch.
