Idea for future Appbrowser
« on: October 06, 2009, 11:34:40 PM »
You are doing an outstanding job with Tiny Core. Keep up the good work.

I know everything takes time.

Here is something to think about for appbrowser in future releases. I am not suggesting this is urgent.

I downloaded and installed one of the recent release candidates. I decided to install all of the extensions again, as so many are being updated.

After a few dependencies had been downloaded, there was a power failure, and the computer went off.

I later restarted the computer and tried to install the same program.

It skipped the dependencies which had not been installed.

I overcame this by deleting home and backup, and restarting.

As I said, I am not suggesting this is urgent, but in the future, it would be good for appbrowser to be aware of what extensions are actually installed when something goes wrong.
Many people see what is. Some people see what can be, and make a difference.
