Hello

don't know if it's any help to anybody but you can run the Graphical Web Browser called "Netsurf" at the console without
having X windows installed/running.

This had puzzled me for ages but just requires installing the "SDL.tcz" extension and for good measure i also installed "SDL2.tcz".

THen you also install Netsurf.  THen you can just boot to a console version of tinycore...like microcore and

$sudo Netsurf......gets the graphical browser running.

It's interesting to me to learn this stuff. Just incase you need it some day. Also i was messing watching movies with Mplayer in the frame buffer which also works nice.

The other framebuffer apps like Picture viewers and PDF readers are also handy

anyhow...just a comment

Thanks

V
