With some Linux distributions you can move between workspaces by pressing Ctrl and using the arrow keys.

Is there a way to move between workspaces in Tiny Core using the keyboard?

If you are talking about flwm, just use alt-tab to get menu, then arrow keys to new or existing desktop.

In JWM the keys are alt-number, or the scroll wheel. You could also define your own keys, for example ctrl-left and -right to go to next and previous desktop in JWM if desired.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
