dCore 5.0-rc2 released

The second release candidate of dCore 5.0 is released and ready for testing:

Changes for RC2:

• Putting TC custom packages in priority when there is a name conflict with Debian.
• Add /opt/debmirror to contain preferred Debian mirror.
• Provide error message upon exit when tinycorelinux.net is not available .
• Fixing initial error on no debmirror and consolidated retrevial to a single read command.
• Preserve sticky bit on /tmp
• Keeping downloaded debs as well as custom package and data tarballs when using import, fetching newer ones from the server automatically when updates to those files are available.

Thanks for the /opt/debmirror AND the persistent debs.  Repository http://debian.osuosul.org/debian tested and functional as /opt/debmirror.  Deb reuse tested and functional with repeated imports.

After re-importing my mydesktop-mega-sce xorg refuses to start. I'm using xorg-intel.

Booting is also much slower than rc1

I used your mydesktop file to create a mydesktop.sce and it is what I am posing from now on my wireless laptop.

I've found why xorg didn't start. Rc2 needs the desktop=flwm_topside bootcode.

Booting is still much slower than rc1 though.

I get no wbar.

when trying to start wbar from prompt I get:

cp: cannot stat `/usr/etc/wbar.d/wbar.cfg': No such file or directory
Error copy file: /usr/etc/wbar.d/wbar.cfg
Configuration empty.

I'm still unable to create new files with Libreoffice and extract files with Xarchiver.

I see a bug in deb2sce that prevented startup scripts from being merged.

Reposted RC2, download and test and it should fix wbar.

I will visit libreoffice and xarchiver later as time permits.

I did not quite understand, this means that all the deb imported are stored in such a way that they are not re-downloaded to "import" new sce (unless they are old) ?

Installed the reposted rc2 and re-imported mydesktop. Now it freezes during boot at Loading extensions...

I remade that same mydesktop with the new cut of dCore.gz, and it works fine.

When done importing mydesktop there are files left in tcedir/import/mydesktop. Are they supposed to be there?
