browser keeps reloading page (SOLVED)
« on: August 23, 2012, 08:56:09 AM »
Using dial-up tc4.5.6 files updated.
Browser keeps reloading drudgereport.com page only.
Only one that works is Dillo3. Same problem with earlier versions of tc.
Tried FF/Minefield8/Opera/Seamonkey same problem.  Currently using Minefield8.
Page loads okay when using Mint (to see if site problem).
Any suggestions?.
Thanks.
Edit: Sorry guess this should go to Q&A forum.

The only difference between Dillo and the other browsers is the lack of Javascript (and approx 9.8Mb of extra Disk space).

Perhaps try to disable Javascript on one of the other browesrs and navigate to the website. It may well be an Issue with the website and not the browser itself.

Thanks Spence91.
Unticking Javascript in Minefield8 fixed the problem and ended my long frustration.
Many thanks for your assistance.
John.
