Run QEMU as vms on Tiny Core core

(1/2) > >>

despai:
Hello everyone!

I am considering to use Tiny Core as a QEMU host to run virtual machines and have a very tiny small host runtime.

Has anyone tried this? If so, how? qemu.tcz ? compiling from source? Was there any issues running linux in qemu in a TinyCore host?

Thank you!

curaga:
Yes, it worked fine with qemu (kvm) a few years back when I last tried.

despai:
Did you run running QEMU in a Tiny Core host. Or did you mind to run Tiny Cory as a virtual machine? I meant the first case

Rich:
Hi despai
The 64 bit and 32 bit  .info  files both give basic examples of booting
a Tinycore ISO using a Tinycore host:
http://tinycorelinux.net/13.x/x86_64/tcz/qemu.tcz.info
http://tinycorelinux.net/13.x/x86/tcz/qemu.tcz.info

You could try one of those to see how things work. If it looks like it
meets your needs, you can try using it to boot something else.

curaga:
I ran TC and other distros on TC.
