mkSDcard gives error not found
« on: June 27, 2015, 12:24:41 AM »
Hi Everyone (Robert), long time no talk. I've been pretty crook for a while but it looks like I won't have to get the lungs replaced and I am breathing on my own. So I am back playing with my toys again.

I am trying to resurrect my GK802's but when I unpack the mksdcard.tgz and try and run mkSDcard.sh I keep getting an error sh: mkSDcard: not found. I can see it under ls and I have tried using sudo. I see the uppercase SD in the name and I am in the /downloads/sdcard directory when I try. The files in this directory are mkSDcard.sh, u-boot.imx, ubootcmd, ubootcmd.src.

Any suggestions please or has my brain just gone to silly putty with the rest of me.

Does it have executable permission, and did you use the full path? ./mkSDcard.sh
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Thanks. Yes to both questions. I deleted the download and started again and I can now create a new card (?????).
