Minecraft on PiCore
« on: April 15, 2013, 08:10:25 PM »
Hi :)

I would like to spark my sons interest for Linux and Raspberry Pi, so that he actually learns something instead of just being passively entertained while playing. I noticed that Minecraft was released for the Raspberry Pi. Is there any way to get that ported to PiCore?, or do I need to run Raspbian instead?

Best regards
Soren

It is a Java application. At the moment there are no Java in piCore repository. Also, official LINUX version comes with prebuilt closed source libraries. Use another distro.
