Android devices running Linux and limitations of brands
« on: May 22, 2026, 05:55:10 PM »
Hello forum,

i remember mentioning some free android apps that give your devices a lot of power.

SHIZUKU is such an app............there are also  lists of about 200 other free apps that will LOOK for Shizuku on your device and if found, they become very powerful apps in of themselves

One such combination is the TASKBAR app together with Shizuku.......this gives you true full multi tasking on Android devices and a proper Linux type desktop and control but control over simultaneous android apps....
(draggable sizable windows....etc etc)

i mean this is true multi tasking power here........Android apps all running in unison....sharing cpu cores and such

if you just run TASKBAR without SHIXUKU it's not nearly as powerful at all.......

You can type into ai asking for a list of Andoid apps that need Shizuku and you will see what powers those
apps then give your device

one such APP "Canta" will allow you to remove all BLOATWARE that your branded phone came with..........gaining about 10 gigabytes

There are hundreds of very poweful free apps available .........who use Shizuku to get their power

thanks

reason i mentioned this is SAMSUNG disable the LINUX DESKTOP feature in all of their devices with android 15 or above ........................but you can use other methods to do the same thing such as free apps like NOMONE DESKTOP

but also my blurb above gives you an excellent desktop experience using simultanous android apps
and beaming over to a large screen.....
