TCE Bugs / [Solved] tc17.1 x64 mpv is missing libplacebo.so.349

Hallo

I tried installing regular lib and the dev version but still mpv will not start. Looks like that is the only one missing lib preventing it from working:

tc@box:~$ mpv
mpv: error while loading shared libraries: libplacebo.so.349: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
tc@box:~$
tc@box:~$

ldd:
   libplacebo.so.349 => not found



I tried to look for that '349' version on previous version's repos but either it's not there or I wasn't able to locate it.

but how come it takes the forum 7 or 8 posts to even BEGIN to approach the issue LOGICALLY....?

How long have you been supporting people here?.........surely you immediately must address what BOOT style it is and as i continually stated it's DEFAULT for everything...

how can it take the forum 7 posts and wild goose chases and 8 recommendations THAT DO NOT WORK AT ALL............and waste time?..........when you have been doing this 20 years?

Why....?......i know the Answer.......i am just wondering if YOU DO?...........( i don't want to be rude)

Got this screen issue solved.


It needed dropping to command prompt from live gui desktop boot then
Loading

Xorg-7.7 ..  ............file...... and then
Xorg-7.7-bin........ file..... and  then the
xf86-video-intel ....file.....

Then "startx" command

You can call it 10-vbox or similar and put it in /usr/local/share/X11/xorg.conf.d
