Title: xfreerdp with Corepure64
Post by: Rabie on February 17, 2022, 07:20:14 AM
Hi there,

i upgraded my system from coureoure64 v10 to the new one v13.

there are some flages that won't work with Multimonitors on the new core

Code: [Select]
xfreerdp /sec:rdp /network:auto /multimon:force +multitransport /f /scale:140  /d:domain /v:server:3389
just when i start it on one Monitor it get to work like this:

Code: [Select]
xfreerdp /sec:rdp /network:auto /f /scale:140  /d:domain /v:server:3389
i tried the old extension from Corepure64 Version 10 but i am getting the same.

Thats mean that it musst be something with the new version (13)

any idea ?

the freerdp extension from the Repo V13 ist 2.5.0
Code: [Select]
xfreerdp /version
This is FreeRDP version 2.5.0 (2.5.0)

i saw that there is a new version from FreeRdp. https://pub.freerdp.com/releases/freerdp-2.6.0.tar.gz

Maybe there is a missing Dependencie in the old version, thats why the Parameter /scale:140 doesn't work and the  Full window drag isn't disabled by default

it would be nice to update freerdp to 2.6.0

I only compiled freerdp-2.5.0 for you with cairo/libswscale enabled for screen resizing a few days ago.

I don't see anything about re-scaling and full window drag in the 2.6.0 release notes..

ok thank you for that, but why would the parameter work on CorePure v10 and it doesn't on Corepure v13 ?

Of course i mean it doesn't work just with multimonitor  :-\

Are you sure that you've updated all the extensions in 13.x to the latest versions and re-booted?

yes 100%.
I will try to install v13 with no other exstensions but freerdp and its dependencies  on a new drive, just to test that.

Your other option is to open an issue on the freerdp github site.

that i can do, but again i don't think that freerdp has an issue, because the scale parameter worked on my old system CorePure64 v10 with multimonitor

You could ask for some troubleshooting suggestions.
