Yeah, it is slow to fetch all the info and dep files. A faster way often would be to just remove the extension from your tce directory, and reboot. tc?-uninstall are for uninstalling from a running system, which is very handy sometimes.

The first run of tce-uninstall would be a good time to do some dishes or make another pot of coffee as it is very slow to sync the needed files.  Once run, subsequent loads should only be a few seconds.  Since tce-uninstall exists fully as an extension, it fetches the needed file lists from ibiblio which is a slow process.  It's main intent is to use with a PPI installation, though it works just as well with a live in ram system.  With PPI, the file lists only have to be fetched once, so that long wait should only happen one time even after rebooting.

With Curaga's tcz-symlinker doing the tcz loading, tcz's load lightning fast and are almost as quick to uninstall.  Another plus for tcz's.

Hi
I can't find tce-uninstall in the 2.x repository. tcz-uninstall is there. (Likewise, iptables.tcel isn't in the 2.x repository, although the firewall is.)
Thanks for the great work. tc2.0rc1 is working well on an eeepc 701.

tce-uninstall and iptables will be copied to 2.x.
