Title: wicd - missing dependencies

i installed wicd and it seams to be missing a lot of dependencies
besides the one it downloaded i had to download
puthon 2.6
dbus
pygobject
and the program still needed more dependencies, can someone check it out and fix it?

I presume you're speaking of wicd-2.6 - it's deps are:

dbus-python-2.6.tcz
libglade.tcz
libiconv.tcz
pygtk-2.6.tcz
shared-mime-info.tcz
wpa_supplicant.tcz
urwid-2.6.tcz
librsvg.tcz
ncurses-utils.tcz
Since the deps are recursive:

dbus-python-2.6 loads dbus-glib which loads dbus
dbus-python-2.6 loads python-2.6
pygtk-2.6 loads pygobject-2.6

did you use the apps browser to load wicd-2.6?

i don't remember i think i used tce-load -wi wicd or the app browser

"tce-load -iw wicd-2.6" would have downloaded the extensions you mention were missing...

don't know what went wrong the last time,
i did a fresh install (again) and this time it worked great
