Hi. I installed dropbox, and it works fine. The only problem with it is that you can't launch the dropbox folder from the Wbar icon, so you have to use file manager to navigate to the folder. Is there any way of adding a regular folder to wbar? Only installed programs go into its list by default.
thanks.

You could duplicate your file explorer in OnDemand and edit the script to call up your file explorer with the Dropbox folder as argument.

I think you forgot the most essential in your question: What app exactly would you want to launch with that?
(Besides from jur's reply being more generically applicable from what is already known).

i don't want to launch any app. i just want a folder to open in file manager.

The app in question is the file manager of your choice, of which there are many in the repo besides the built-in fluff.
I am writing a little wiki page on how to do this easily.

Besides from Reply #1 being the most universal answer, an alternative approach may be to use rox-filer with panel, where directories and files could simply be dragged and dropped to the panel.
