Title: Can all the fonts be larger?
Post by: Ulysses_ on April 19, 2011, 01:41:50 PM
In firefox and opera there are preferences for font size etc but only for web pages.

Putting -dpi 120 after Xorg in .xsession affects the application menus but does not affect:

1. the title bar,
2. the TC menus
3. the wbar fonts

How are these 3 changed too?

Also, can the title bar be darker?

The title bar color is set in .profile, and wbar font size in the wbar config file. TC menus (I assume you mean flwm) use bitmap fonts, so altering their size would require a recompile of flwm_topside.

Done the title bar color (requires full logout eg reboot) but having difficulty with the wbar font size.  Typing wbar --help does not show any font size option. Is wbar font size an undocumented feature? (-isize has no effect on font size).

Code: [Select]
cat /usr/share/wbar/dot.wbar
 ;)

Thanks.

Now the title bar font size is the only one left.  Does it fall under the following therefore requiring a recompile?

Yes.

Any chance of an extension that is a recompile of flwm_topside with larger fonts?  Current fonts almost unreadable on notebook here.  After some experimentation it needs 70% larger fonts.
