I can "see" the file (http://distro.ibiblio.org/tinycorelinux/3.x/tcz/kdeedu.tcz) in question. As it is a larger one (e.g. 62M) maybe your download gets into trouble during the download and then simply times out. Have you tried to download it manually using something like 'wget -c URL' (which you can repeat multiple times until you've received the whole lot)?

I had tried "tce-load -w kdeedu.tcz". It has done nothing for a long time (no progress bar for several minutes) and then it happened quickly ... it was different than usual, but now it worked. Thank you.

the reason it hangs for a long time is because kdeedu has too many deps, also i don't recommend it to be used from base and i created those kde extensions for kde4 desktop only
