Title: No sounds in Pidgin

Hey guys,

Pidgin is does not have any sounds, everything else does. I also tried adding a command as advised here. http://turbulentsky.com/pidgin-has-no-sound-in-ubuntu-gutsy.html (http://turbulentsky.com/pidgin-has-no-sound-in-ubuntu-gutsy.html) 

But it seems sounds are non existent?

Any help is greatly appreciated   :)
