Title: Best sound options for a vmware VM

Trying to play youtube videos in a vmware VM.  The sound is terrible.  Has anyone got the sound to work alright in a vmware VM?

And if yes, what .vmx sound settings do the job?  Is it OSS or alsa in the VM?
