Title: Xvesa 915 resolution
Post by: patrickhannon86 on March 28, 2011, 01:48:34 PM
Has anyone gotten 1440x900 working on an intel chip?

I am loading the 915resolution in attempt to use Xvesa. I am using PCTSC which was recently located at http://pctsc.ponderworthy.org.

I specified the resolution in that script. Is there anything else I need to do? What am I missing?

I took a look, and it appears that 915 is a special Intel-only video set.  Not supported by PC TSC at this time.

Jonathan,

Wanted to let you know I am a huge fan of PCTSC, I have about 100 PCs booting as thin clients.

I found out that if I installed 915resolution right after tc.setup.sh, it worked flawlessly. I tried to alter your PCTSC.setup.sh but it seemed to want a reboot in between. I don't know if you would want to include this option in your project, but it was extremely when I found this fix.
