New patched version is available supporting more file types:

Glad it's working as advertised (though you should probably be thanking the program author for that, as my input was limited solely to repackaging the application for Tinycore.  ;D)

Hi,

the new version is meantioned to support "other" file formats. So is it possible to stream videos with it or is there another streaming server extension for tinycore linux?

I can remember having unexpectedly streamed videos by mistake when streaming a whole directory which contained a combination of music and video files...
Not sure about which formats though...

rygel or (I guess) python-coherence/rhythmbox-2.7
